Gretzky is a former NHL professional hockey player where he played 20 seasons from 1979 - 1999. Nicknamed "The Great One", he has been called "the greatest hockey player ever" by many sportswriters, players, and the NHL itself. He is the leading scorer in NHL history, with more goals and more assists than any other player. He scored more assists than any other player scored total points, and is the only NHL player to total over 200 points in one season – a feat he accomplished four times. At the time of his retirement in 1999, he held 61 NHL records: 40 regular-season records, 15 playoff records, and six All-Star records. As of 2014, he still holds 60 NHL records.
Team: Pittsburgh Penguins
Crosby serves as captain of the Pittsburgh Penguins of the NHL. Crosby was drafted first overall by the Penguins. Nicknamed "The Next One", he was one of the most highly regarded draft picks in hockey history, leading many to refer to the 2005 Draft Lottery as the "Sidney Crosby Sweepstakes". Crosby became the youngest captain in NHL history to win the Stanley Cup in 2009/10. In 2015 he led Team Canada to a gold in the World Championship in Prague, thus becoming a member of the Triple Gold Club and the only player in the club to have captained all three winning teams.
Team: Dallas Stars
Posisjon: Left wing / Center
Benn had been a very good individual player when he came to Dallas, but he started to really change as a leader after playing for Canada in the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi. He went there as an extra forward, wasn't even on the radar screen and ended up being the guy who probably had the most impact of anybody. Benn is now tied for second in the NHL's Art Ross Trophy scoring race, and the Dallas Stars continue to maintain a lead in the NHL's Hunger Games Division.
Team: Dallas Stars
Seguin is tied for second in the NHL's Art Ross Trophy scoring race, together with teammate Jamie Benn. Seguin won a Stanley Cup his rookie season in Boston before being traded to the Dallas Stars. Tyler's made major strides. He's only 23. He's lived a pretty full life already in the NHL, with a Cup already and some highs and lows.
"He knows he has to be better defensively and he knows he's got to win more puck battles and he's working on that. But he's a blessed, talented guy. He can skate with anyone in the league and has as quick a release as anyone in the league."
Team: San Jose Sharks
Posisjon: Center / Left Wing
Marleau is the all-time Sharks leader in goals, even strength goals, power play goals, points, shots and games played having spent his entire NHL career with the Sharks since being drafted second overall by the franchise in the 1997 NHL Entry Draft. Marleau won gold medals with Team Canada at the 2010 and 2014 Winter Olympics. Marleau, being one of the most important players of the Sharks for nearly 20 seasons, is one of the fastest skaters in the NHL, and exhibits a high standard of playing ability combined with gentlemanly conduct. This has earned him two nominations for the Lady Byng Memorial Trophy and has made him a popular player both among fans and his professional peers.

Having grown up in Norway and regularly ridden with the likes of Terje Håkonsen, Torstein Horgmo and Andreas Wiig, it’s no surprise that Ståle Sandbech has evolved into one of the most talented and stylish riders to come out of the region. A regular on the podium (X Games, Olympics, Dew Tour, etc.) in any event he enters, Sandbech has established himself as one of the pre-eminent threats in Slopestyle, Big Air and even Halfpipe. When he's not traveling the globe for contests and photo shoots, he's usually home, continuing to push the performance envelope and putting together impressive – and often humorous – video parts with his crew of friends, who are collectively known as RK1. It's all in good fun, but it's all true to who Ståle is as a person and his aspirations for the career and lifestyle he was to live.

Mark McMorris is the present, but he's also the future. In the time since he became the first rider to land a backside triple cork 1440 in March 2011, he’s established himself as one of the premiere names in competitive snowboarding. He had the double-gold performance at 2012 Winter X Games, and followed it up with a second consecutive Gold in Slopestyle in 2013, and settled for Silver in Big Air behind friend and Shredbots collaborator, Torstein Horgmo – when both athletes landed never-before-seen-in-competition triple-variation tricks. He added an Olympic bronze medal (let's be real, it should have been gold) in Russia, and then got back to filming and shredding as often as possible – and not just in the park. The guy is also a backcountry slayer-in-training, receiving tutelage from none other than the likes of Nicolas Müller and Terje Håkonsen. The guy – only recently able to legally order a beer in the States – is a superstar. Despite the legions of young ladies screaming his name at contests, the reality TV shows and an ever-growing social media presence, he continues to play a crucial role in the evolution of the sport and remain as grounded as ever
